Messi has new condominiums in Miami under contract.

Soccer superstar Lionel Messi, from Inter Miami CF, has demonstrated his long-term commitment to the city, at least as a resident, as he has four condos under contract in the new Cipriani Residences Miami.
According to reports first from The Wall Street Journal and confirmed by a source familiar with the agreement, Messi has four units under contract in the under-construction building located at 1420 S. Miami Ave., in the Brickell financial district. The largest of them belongs to the luxury Canaletto collection, with prices starting at $7.5 million. The sizes and prices of the other units were not disclosed, but the Canaletto collection spans floors 62 to 80, and the largest penthouses start at $16.2 million.
Mast Capital secured a construction loan of $600 million for the 397 units of Cipriani Residences Miami in early 2024. Fortune Development Sales is the exclusive broker. The building is expected to be completed in 2028.
Messi signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Inter Miami in 2023, which ends at the close of the 2025 season. So far, he has played at the team's stadium in Fort Lauderdale, but the club will move to the new stadium in Freedom Park, Miami, for the 2026 season. Messi's contract includes an option to stay until 2026.
In any case, the purchase of these condos suggests that Messi plans to spend time in Miami even after finishing his career as a player. In 2023, he also purchased a mansion in Fort Lauderdale.
